ShinyHits prices, on the page you're buying from

Open a card on Cardmarket, TCGplayer or eBay and a small ShinyHits panel shows its price in the US, Europe and the Netherlands with the day each was checked. Connect your account and it also says whether you own the card, want it, and your target price.

Not in the Chrome Web Store, Edge Add-ons or Firefox Add-ons yet: install it by hand in a minute, as below.

  3. Choose Load unpacked and pick the folder with manifest.json in it.
2

Connect your account (optional)

Make a token in Settings → API tokens, click the ShinyHits icon in the toolbar and paste it. Prices work without it.

What it does, and what it never does

  • On a single card's page it reads the card's name, set and number from the page's heading and details (on Cardmarket also the product id, on eBay the listing title and item specifics) and asks ShinyHits for that card.
  • It never reads listings, sellers or the site's own prices, never clicks or fills in anything, and changes nothing on the page apart from its own small panel, which you can fold away or close.
  • Only card details go to ShinyHits. Without a token nothing identifies you; with one, ShinyHits knows which card you looked up, to answer whether you own it.
  • eBay listings are read only when they're a Pokémon card in English; everything else is left alone.
